Amazing Paine

Adventure in the Paine and Grey Glacier. A 6-day program through the most iconic corners of Torres del Paine National Park — the legendary W trek, kayaking among floating icebergs and an ice hike across Grey Glacier.

Itinerary

Day 1 — Arrival, Puerto Natales

Welcome at Puerto Natales, transfer to your hotel, welcome dinner and trip briefing. (D)

Day 2 — Torres del Paine

Transfer across the Patagonian pampa to the park. Trek up the Ascencio Valley past Refugio Chileno and through native Lenga forest to the base of the three granite towers. 22 km, 8–10 hrs. Night at Kau Rio Serrano Lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 3 — French Valley

Catamaran across turquoise Lake Pehoe to Paine Grande, then trek into the French Valley — a granite amphitheatre of hanging glaciers, sheer walls and waterfalls. 16 km, 6–7 hrs. (B/L/D)

Day 4 — Grey Glacier · Kayaking

Paddle a sea kayak among floating icebergs on Lake Grey, heading toward the face of Grey Glacier. Overnight at Grey Lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 5 — Grey Glacier · Ice Hiking and Navigation

Zodiac to the west side of Grey Glacier and a 3-hour ice trek exploring crevasses, lagoons and ice tunnels. In the afternoon, navigate Lake Grey to the glacier face — toast with a pisco sour chilled by glacial ice. (B/L/D)

Day 6 — Departure

Breakfast and transfer to Puerto Natales airport. (B)
