Six days on the volcanoes of Pucon — where freeride racing meets serious mountain craft. Avalancha en el Volcan is Mawida Adventures' flagship winter gathering: a high-level ski and splitboard event set on the active flanks of Villarrica, with access to two or three of the region's great volcanoes — Villarrica, Quetrupillan, and Lanin — depending on conditions.

This is not a resort week. You earn your turns on volcanic terrain, line up for the Avalancha en el Volcan race down Villarrica, and walk away with the certifications that make you a safer, more autonomous mountain traveller: Leave No Trace (LNT), Wilderness First Aid (WFA), and Avalanche Rescue. Five days based in Pucon, the self-styled capital of adventure sport in South America, with flexible, professional guides reading the snow and the weather day by day.
