Valleys of the W — Torres del Paine
Embark on the adventure of a lifetime through the legendary W Trek in Torres del Paine National Park, one of the most spectacular wilderness areas on Earth. Over five unforgettable days, you will traverse ancient Lenga forests, stand beneath colossal granite towers, navigate pristine glacial lakes, and witness the raw power of Patagonia's ice fields — all with expert guidance from The Red Outdoor Xperience.
Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival in Puerto Natales
Arrive in the charming frontier town of Puerto Natales, gateway to Torres del Paine. Settle into your hotel, meet your guides, and enjoy a welcome dinner where we brief you on the days ahead. Tonight is the calm before the storm of beauty that awaits. (Dinner included)
Day 2 — The Towers of Paine
An early start takes us into the heart of the park. Trek two hours through the Ascencio Valley, passing Refugio Chileno and ascending through enchanting Lenga forest and glacial moraine fields. Your reward: a breathtaking close-range view of the iconic granite towers soaring over 2,800 metres into the Patagonian sky. Return to Kau Rio Serrano Lodge for a well-earned gourmet dinner with mountain views. (22 km / 8–10 hrs | Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Day 3 — French Valley
Board a catamaran across the impossibly turquoise waters of Lake Pehoe, then trek 2.5 hours into the French Valley — a vast granite amphitheatre flanked by hanging glaciers, sheer rock walls, and cascading waterfalls. The scale is almost incomprehensible; silence broken only by the crack of calving ice. (16 km / 6–7 hrs | Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Day 4 — Grey Glacier
Trek along the shores of Lake Grey, where massive blue icebergs drift in eerie silence. Board the Grey III catamaran and navigate right up to the face of Grey Glacier, a 6-kilometre-wide wall of ancient ice descending from the Southern Patagonian Ice Field. Toast the moment with a pisco sour chilled by 10,000-year-old glacial ice. Transfer back to Puerto Natales. (11 km / 3–4 hrs | Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Day 5 — Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward journey — carrying memories that will last a lifetime. (Breakfast included)
